Don't Take Our Word For It
Arrived in the French Alps expecting snowboarding. Left with 30 new best friends, a second home in the après scene, and a life that briefly felt like a Love Island episode with better outfits and worse balance. Minimal sleep, maximum serotonin. 10/10.
Without a doubt, best in class! Fun, sass and best banter a ski trip ever wants! Number 1 ski and wine week! Simply put!
Made some of the best friends of my life on these trips. That's not something you can say about many holidays. See you at the next one.
I'm not much of a skier — I went with my ski-crazy friends for the vibes and wine! Great holiday and great people on the trip.
I joined this legendary team for two trips — Rise Festival and Georgia — and both were unforgettable. They brought together such a fun international group that it was impossible not to make friends. Have already booked the next one.
Guys, this is not a scam!
Everything. Sorted.
No spreadsheet of extras to decode. No nasty surprises at checkout.
Here's exactly what's in the box.
- 7 nights twin-share in ski-in, ski-out apartments — Balcons de Val Thorens, wellness centre and spa included in your stay
- 7 chef-cooked French breakfasts — fresh croissants, omelettes, baguettes, ooh la la
- 7 French cuisine dinners — raclette, fondue, beef bourguignon, hearty mountain fare
- French wine pairings with every dinner, every night
- Daily guided après-ski — Folie Douce, Le Malaysia and the best nightlife in the Alps, hosted
- The world's largest ski area — 600km of trails across Les 3 Vallées, right outside your door
- Guided hosting from slopes to après to dance floor, the whole week
Optional add-on: 6-day Three Valleys lift pass — €409
The world's biggest ski area doesn't come cheap. But it does come with bragging rights.
Balcons de Val Thorens
Two massive apartments. Ski-in, ski-out. A wellness spa you don't have to leave the building for. All rooms are twin-share so either come with your ski buddy/lover/both or for solo travellers we'll pair you up with your new best friend (gender, age, party preference match).
Same model that's worked perfectly for our other Ski & Wine Weeks — two flagship apartments, taken over entirely by the crew — except this time you're skiing straight out the door and coming home to a proper spa.
The wellness centre alone is reason enough to book: a pool with valley views, two saunas, a hammam, a fitness room and a kids' pool you definitely won't be using. After a day on the world's biggest mountain, this is where you end up before dinner.
- Ski-in, ski-out — back at the apartment in minutes, no shuttle required
- 600m² wellness centre — pool, two saunas, hammam, fitness room
- Central location — five minutes from the resort's best bars and clubs
- Two flagship apartments — the whole crew under one roof, same as our other trips
Why Val Thorens?
Four reasons this is the biggest Ski & Wine Week we've ever run.
World's Best Resort
Val Thorens was named World's Best Ski Resort at the 2025 World Ski Awards — its tenth win in thirteen years. No other resort on the planet comes close.
The Biggest Mountain on Earth
Val Thorens sits inside Les 3 Vallées — the world's largest interconnected ski area. 600km of runs, seven linked resorts, 156 lifts. You will not run out of mountain.
Best Nightlife In The Alps
40+ bars and clubs in a resort you can walk across in 20 minutes, including Le Malaysia — the largest nightclub in the Alps. This is not a tea-and-early-night kind of place.
Europe's Highest Resort
At 2,300m, Val Thorens is the highest resort in Europe — which means more snow, longer season, and zero risk of skiing on mud in week one of January.
This Isn't Your Average Ski Trip
This isn't just any old ski trip. It's a full-blown French indulgence, made fun. A luxury getaway for down-to-earth people. A gastronomic bonanza that won't break the budget. A wine-filled week without the wine-filled wankers — at the most decorated ski resort on the planet.
You'll ski the world's largest interconnected ski area by day — 600km of trails across Les 3 Vallées, seven linked resorts, 156 lifts, all from Europe's highest resort at 2,300m. Then you'll ski straight back to your apartment, hit the wellness spa, and let our chef take over from there.
"No more paying €30 for reheated lasagne in a mountainside tourist trap."
Every morning starts with fresh croissants and proper coffee. Every afternoon ends in Val Thorens' legendary après scene — Folie Douce on the mountain, Le Malaysia after dark, and forty-something other bars in between. Every evening finishes around a table full of food, wine and people who came as strangers and leave as mates.
"A wine-filled week without the wine-filled wankers."
Who's it for? Solo travellers, small groups of friends, social couples and anyone who wants to ski the biggest mountain in the world, eat well, drink better and laugh constantly. If that sounds like you — and it sounds like you — read on.

Wake Up
Roll out of bed in your ski-in, ski-out apartment at Balcons de Val Thorens. Grab a coffee — with Baileys if that's where you're at — and decide whether today's a wellness spa morning or straight onto the slopes. Hangovers don't exist when you live like this.
"600km of trails. 156 lifts. The world's largest ski area. Your office for the week."
Breakfast
Catch up on last night's crimes over croissants, omelettes, French toast, cheese, sliced meats and fresh baguettes. Our chef's already on it. You just have to show up.
Hit the Mountain
Ski straight out the apartment door into Les 3 Vallées — the world's largest interconnected ski area, linking seven resorts across 600km of trails and 156 lifts. Standing at 2,300m, Val Thorens is Europe's highest resort, so the snow doesn't bail on you halfway through the season. Find your ski crew on the first night and explore at your own pace — we link up for runs when we can, and always for après.
"Folie Douce starts before you've even taken your skis off. We told you this place doesn't do quiet."
The Après Crawl
This is the bit people fly here for. Folie Douce gets going on the mountain mid-afternoon, then it's down into the resort for Le Malaysia — the largest nightclub in the Alps — and forty-something other bars in a resort small enough to stagger across in 20 minutes. It's technically still skiing if you ski to the next bar. We call it training.
Dinner
Back at the apartment, our chef's been busy. Raclette, fondue, beef bourguignon, cassoulet — proper hearty French mountain food, cooked on-site every night, paired with French and local Alpine wines. By the end of the week you might be able to tell your Bourgogne from your Bordeaux. No promises.
Then We Go Again
Val Thorens didn't win World's Best Resort ten times by closing early. Whatever's happening at Le Malaysia, whatever's happening in town, or just the apartment with a bottle and the best people you've met all year — either way, you're not going to bed sensibly. That's the whole point.
Pass out. Rinse. Repeat × 6.

We've Got Answers
All levels welcome, from first-timers to people who spend their holidays finding off-piste lines. On the first evening we sort everyone into ski crews by ability and you spend the week with your people — linking up with the full group for runs and always for après.
Yes. We regularly have guests who don't ski or board. You can get passenger lift passes up the mountain to the bars, restaurants and viewpoints, hit the wellness spa whenever you like, and there's plenty happening in the resort all week. You won't be short of things to do or people to do them with.
Not in the base price — it's an optional add-on at €409 for a 6-day Three Valleys pass. That gets you the entire 600km, seven-resort, world's-largest ski area. You can add it when you book.
Chambéry is closest, then Lyon, then Geneva, then Grenoble — in roughly that order of proximity to Val Thorens. We can help with transfer options once you're booked — sometimes guests end up sharing a private shuttle with the rest of the crew.
Solo travellers make up the bulk of our guests. We deliberately build environments where people arrive as strangers and leave as friends — group chat, shared ski crews, communal dinners every night. It works. Every time.
Roughly your age — Gen Z trips skew under 30, Millennial trips skew over. But it's not enforced at the door. Pick the week that matches your energy. The mountain doesn't check ID.
Generally 25–35, with occasional younger/older outliers who prove to be just as much fun as anyone else. What matters more than age is that you want to ski the biggest mountain in the world, eat well, drink better and have a proper laugh.
Yes, all dietary requirements are catered for. Our chef takes it seriously. Just let us know when you book.
We're keeping our Val Thorens debut intimate — between 20 and 30 people. Small enough for our chefs and guides to take proper care of you, big enough that you've always got someone to ski, drink and dance with. Our other Ski & Wine Weeks sold out 5 of 6 trips in their first year, so for our first season here, get in early.
Leave a 1% deposit (less than €10) to secure your spot, then pay the rest in easy monthly instalments. Or pay in full upfront and get 5% off. Either way works for us.
Seven nights in ski-in, ski-out apartments with a wellness spa included, seven chef-cooked breakfasts, seven French cuisine dinners, wine pairings every night, daily guided après-ski and hosted trips from slopes to nightlife. Lift pass is an optional add-on at €409.
