What you get
Everything that matters.
Nothing that doesn't.
La Dolce Vita,
but make it powder
This is what happens when you take the best parts of a luxury ski trip and strip out the stuffiness — and the price tag. A social ski escape for people who like good food and decent bottles, who deserve a private chef but can only afford to share one with a crew of new best mates.
People who love the thrill of skiing and boarding but don't feel the need to pretend they're professional athletes. People who want to eat well, drink Italian wine, and wake up in the mountains with nowhere to be until the lifts open.
"High-altitude slopes. Duty-free prices. Hearty Italian carbs. All in one place."
We chose Livigno for good reason. It sits up on the Swiss border at serious altitude — meaning reliable snow, long seasons and a ski area that genuinely punches above its weight. You may also recognise it as the home of Olympic snowboarding at the 2026 Winter Games.
But the altitude isn't the only thing that makes Livigno special. Because it sits in a duty-free zone, your après drinks cost a fraction of what you'd pay in any other Italian or French resort. More money for wine at dinner. Which is, frankly, where it belongs.
"Ski all day. Eat together. Drink well. Repeat."
By day you'll hit the slopes — wide cruising pistes, long verticals, mountain huts with Aperol Spritzes and a thriving après scene that kicks off while there's still snow under your boots. By night we regroup at the chalet. We eat together. We open bottles. We recover properly.
Perfect for solo travellers, couples and small groups — anyone who just wants to ski fast, eat well, drink too much wine and meet absolute legends.
A day in the life
in Livigno
8:00am
You wake up in the chalet. Someone has already made coffee — strong, Italian, non-negotiable. Breakfast is laid out: eggs, cured meats, fresh bread, yoghurt. No rush. The mountain isn't going anywhere.
9:30am
Boots on, boards strapped, lifts open. Livigno's ski area fans out across two mountains with wide pistes, long runs and enough variety to keep every ability level happy all week. Find your crew for the day and go.
"115km of pistes. Serious altitude. And an Aperol Spritz waiting at every mountain hut."
12:30pm
Lunch on the mountain. Pasta, polenta, a cheeky Negroni at a sun-soaked rifugio terrace. This is Italy — even the mountain food is good.
3:30pm
Après kicks off. Livigno's bar scene gets going early and stays going late. You'll find the crew at a slope-side bar, boots still on, first drinks already flowing.
7:00pm
Back at the chalet. Sauna and jacuzzi for whoever needs it — which is everyone. Hot water, cold drinks, good chat. Legs slowly remembering how to function again.
"Pasta. Wine. Repeat. Your legs will forgive you eventually."
8:00pm
Dinner together. Chef-cooked Italian food — antipasti, pasta, secondi, the works — paired with Italian wines chosen to match. This is not a meal deal. This is the reason you came.
10:00pm onwards
Livigno has the best nightlife of any Italian resort — fact. The village centre is a ten-minute walk and the bars stay open late. Whether you're heading out or opening another bottle at the chalet, nobody's going to bed early.
Where we stay
We're based at Chalet del Sole — a warm, social alpine property on the edge of the village with shared apartments, communal spaces, and a sauna and jacuzzi for end-of-day survival. Comfortable without being precious, and perfectly placed for getting to the lifts in the morning and the bars in the evening.
Solo travellers go into twin shares with a fellow legend — matched by age and vibe. Couples get doubles. Groups get put together. Simple.
We're bringing a sommelier.
Don't panic.
For this trip only, we're shipping in an Italian sommelier to run an optional wine tasting course across the week. You'll learn about Italian wines, the regions, the grapes, the pairings — and how to actually taste wine without turning into a wanker about it.
This is not a stuffy masterclass with a man in a cravat. This is Swallow Don't Spit Wine — which means it's fun, unpretentious, and probably involves a lot of drinking under the guise of education.
Optional add-on: €99 per person. Your dinner wine is already included in the trip price — this is a proper guided deep-dive on top of that.
