Rise Festival brings some of the world's biggest electronic acts to stages on the mountain and in the village. Your lift ticket is your festival ticket. Explore the whole mountain and all the stages up there and in the village.
The après
Après Starts At 11am
Pano Bar kicks off at 11am and really gets going at 2pm. Then Skandal Bar for views and table dancing, then Umbrella Bar at the bottom of the mountain. Home is five minutes' walk. Your feet will be grateful at midnight. The rest of you won't want to stop.

Our literal neighbours are two of the best bars in the village. Then there's Smithy's Disco, Rise Festival's own late-night venue. We walk home in minutes, which is either the best or worst thing about our location. Probably both.

This Isn't Just A Ski Trip
This is a full-blown French Alpine indulgence set inside Europe's most concentrated week of music, skiing, wine and general mayhem. Rise Festival turns Les Deux Alpes into the world's best après scene for one week in December — and we've taken over a building in the middle of it.
We've filled that building with chefs, wine guides, and the kind of people who make strangers into friends by the second dinner. Your breakfasts and dinners are handled. The wine is paired. The après is guided. The mountain is 220km of trails with a 3,600m glacier at the top. And between Rise Festival's stages, our neighbours Penguin & Polar, and Smithy's Disco, you have way too many reasons to stay up every single night.
Solo travellers make up the bulk of our guests. We match you by age, energy and party tolerance, put you in a twin room with your new best friend, and build an environment where people arrive as strangers and leave already planning the next one. 12 of the 31 people from our 2025 Rise Week booked another trip before the week was out. That's not a stat we made up. It's just what happens.
A typical day
Life At Rise
Step 01
Wake Up
Roll out of bed in your apartment at La Résidence, right in the centre of Les Deux Alpes. Grab a coffee — with Baileys if that's where you're at — and take in the valley views from the balcony. Hangovers don't exist when you live like this.
Step 02
Breakfast
Come to the communal dining space and catch up on last night's gossip over croissants, omelettes, French toast, cheese, sliced meats and fresh baguettes. Our chef's been up for an hour. You just have to show up.
Step 03
Hit The Mountain
We're a short walk from the main gondola. Explore 220km of trails, a 2,300m vertical drop and Europe's highest skiable glacier at 3,600m across 55 lifts. The split: 15% green, 50% blue, 20% red, 15% black, plus a snowpark and boardercross track. Find your ski crew on the first night and go from there.
Step 04
The Après Crawl
Your full festival ticket gets you into Pano Bar on the mountain from 11am. After that: Skandal Bar for epic views and table dancing, then Umbrella Bar at the bottom. From there it's a few minutes' walk back to the Tower of Goodtimes. It's technically still skiing if you ski to the next bar. We call it training.
Step 05
Dinner
Back at the Tower of Goodtimes, our chefs have been busy. Raclette, fondue, beef bourguignon, cassoulet — hearty French mountain food, cooked on-site every night and paired with French and local wines. By the end of the week you might know your Bourgogne from your Bordeaux. No promises.
Step 06
Then We Go Again
Between Rise Festival's many stages, Penguin & Polar next door, and Smithy's Disco, the decision about where to go tonight is your biggest problem. Rinse. Repeat × 6.
Where you're staying
The Tower of Goodtimes
La Résidence, Les Deux Alpes — opposite the two best bars, five minutes from the gondola and the festival.
We've taken over the top two floors of the very central, very chic La Résidence — all that wood, all those views, 5th and 6th floors, which is high for here. All nine apartments on these floors are ours, with communal dining, wining and pre-partying spaces on both floors. The views from up here are genuinely ridiculous.
