Ski and Wine France x Rise Festival Les Deux Alpes
Early bird open

Dec 5–12, 2026

France × Rise Festival

Les Deux Alpes, French Alps

Let's start the winter with a bang, a pop, a slide and boogie at the world's largest independent ski & music festival

There really is no better way to kick off the season than by skiing our beloved Les Deux Alpes (very high, guaranteed snow so early in the season), dancing at Rise Festival’s many stages, eating the French food that our chefs prepare and drinking the French wines that we’ve paired with it. But if we’re being completely honest – and when aren’t we – the thing we love most about this trip is the people, the friendships, the gang, the newly formed besties, you’re all-night homies – in short, THE CREW.

Ski and Wine Week Les Deux Alpes French Alps
Early bird open

Jan 9–23 & Mar 13–27, 2027 — four weeks

Ski & Wine — France

Les Deux Alpes, French Alps

Four weeks in the spiritual home of the Ski & Wine Week. High altitude, guaranteed snow, and this winter we're doing something new — splitting the weeks by vibe, not age. Find your crew.

Two weeks in January, two in March — avoiding school holidays, Christmas chaos, and the kind of crowds that ruin a good apres. After listening to our guests, we've broken the weeks up by vibe:

Gen Z vibes

Jan 9–16
Mar 13–20

Green tea starter pack

Millennial AF

Jan 16–23
Mar 20–27

Ibuprofen breakfast club

Not strict rules — fun lovers of all ages welcome (bring your mum, she's half price; bring your granny, she's obviously free). An hour from Grenoble, two from Lyon. Four-star chalets, jacuzzis, saunas, private chefs, wine pairing, first-timers to backcountry legends.

Ski and Wine Week Livigno Italian Alps
Early bird open

Jan & Apr 2027 — weeks & weekends

Ski & Wine — Italy

Livigno, Italian Alps — Duty Free

The Italian Alps hit differently. Olympic-level terrain, a tonne of snow, and the best carb-based apres-ski on the planet. Full weeks or weekends — because not everyone can swing seven days, and we get that.

Livigno hosted the snowboarding at the 2026 Winter Olympics. The valley is broad, the terrain is steep, and the snow is reliable. But honestly? Half the reason to come is the food. When you're peckish after a big day on the mountain, nothing — nothing — hits like pizza, pasta, and a bombardino at apres.

Perfect for solos and groups alike. Handy if you're based in Italy or can easily get to Milan. We take over a gorgeous chalet in the village with a communal space for dining, drinking, chatting, and pre-partying.

Ski and Wine Week Georgia Gudauri Tbilisi
Early bird open

Feb & Mar 2027

Ski, Wine & Culture — Georgia

Tbilisi & Gudauri, Caucasus

Last winter blew everyone away. Wild mountains, family-run wineries, meals that made grown adults emotional. We went, we were conquered, and now we're going back. Everyone's favourite trip of 2025/26.

We took a chance on Georgia last winter. We knew about the food, the wine, the friendly locals, the Caucasus mountains. What we didn't expect was just how hard it would all hit.

🍷

First dinner in Tbilisi — the proprietor toasting us, telling stories, playing music, and refilling our glasses before we'd even noticed they were empty.

🏡

Family-run wineries showing us their ancient winemaking methods, then feeding us in their actual homes.

⛷️

HUGE, sometimes wild, snow-covered Caucasus mountains with seemingly endless terrain.

For those who want adventure with their ski trip — a new country, a deep cultural immersion, incredible food and wine, and a crew of likeminded legends to share it with.

Exploration Trip Kazakhstan Almaty ski
New destination Limited spots

Feb 16–23, 2027

Exploration Trip — Kazakhstan

Almaty

The Exploration Trips are where things get properly interesting. Last winter: Georgia. This winter: Kazakhstan. Two steep, wild resorts looming over a buzzing city, nomadic culture, Kazakh food, and bragging rights basically no one in your friends group has yet.

Almaty sits in the shadow of the Trans-Ili Alatau mountains. Two high, steep and — let's be honest — a little wild ski resorts sit within an hour of downtown. The food scene is fascinating, there's a burgeoning wine culture to dig into, and the nomadic history runs deep. If you like your ski trips with a big side dose of WTF, this one's for you.

What's waiting in Almaty

Wild mountain terrain
Nomadic culture
Kazakh food scene
Burgeoning wine
City + slopes combo
Epic bragging rights

Application only — super limited spots

First priority goes to our existing Exploration Trippers. If you're new to the crew, apply early and tell us a bit about yourself.

What else is coming...

The schedule above is what's confirmed. But we're always cooking. Here's what's currently being schemed, plotted, and borderline obsessed over at SDSW HQ:

More music festivals — Snowbombing, Snowboxx, Tomorrowland Winter, Snow Machine Japan, we see you
Austrian Alps — a new destination on the shortlist
