Description
Adriatic indulgence, done properly
This isn’t a booze cruise, although it’s often very boozy.
And it’s not a floating nightclub, but we’re often floating when we make our way home from the… you get it.
What this is is a week of slow island hopping, serious swim stops, long lunches, late dinners and very good wine, stitched together by the kind of group that forms when everyone agrees, quietly, that they deserve the nice things in life.
You’ll spend your days drifting between islands along the Dalmatian Coast – swimming in coves so clear they look fake, drying off on deck, and eating fresh local food that tastes better purely because you’re barefoot when it arrives.
Wine isn’t an afterthought here. It’s built into the rhythm of the trip.
Local wines with lunch. Guided tastings on shore. Bottles chosen because they make sense where you are, not because they look good on Instagram.
Think Grk in Korčula, Pošip in Pelješac (and being able to identify the two when we’re done), seafood straight off the grill, and that slightly smug feeling of knowing you’re drinking exactly what you should be drinking in exactly the right place.
By night, we dock in port towns that know how to feed people properly. Some evenings turn rowdy. Some stay slow. Most involve shared tables, plates ordered “for everyone”, and dancing that begins accidentally and ends very late.
This is Croatia as it’s meant to be experienced:
sun-warmed, salt-streaked, wine-soaked, and gloriously unstructured, but with just enough guidance to keep things smooth.
Welcome to Sail & Wine Week Croatia by Swallow Don’t Spit Wine.
What’s Included
Premier sail boat accommodation
Twin-share cabins on a beautiful Croatian coastal yacht. All cabins are air-conditioned with private en-suite bathrooms. Comfortable, social, and a serious step above entry-level boats.
Chef-prepared breakfasts and dinners
Fresh Mediterranean cooking served onboard: relaxed, generous and designed for days spent swimming and nights spent laughing.
Daily wine pairings
Wine is included with meals, chosen to match the food and the place you’re in. Expect crisp coastal whites, easy reds, and bottles that disappear faster than planned.
Curated on-shore wine experiences
Guided tastings with local producers in key wine regions along the route. Real places, real stories, no conveyor belts.
Swim stops every day
Coves, bays and open-water jumps. Sometimes before lunch. Sometimes after. Often both.
Professional Croatian crew
Experienced captain and crew who know these islands inside out and keep the boat running smoothly all week.
Swallow Don’t Spit Wine hosting
We handle the flow of the trip — timing, tastings, logistics, and group rhythm — so you can focus on being on holiday, not organising one.
Onboard local cruise host
A knowledgeable local guide travels with us for the full week, helping shape the route, explain the places we visit, and keep everything running smoothly from port arrivals to local tips you won’t find on Google.
The itinerary
The route takes us through some of the best stretches of the Dalmatian Coast. We’ll begin and end in Trogir, sailing south to Brač, across to the wine-rich peninsula of Pelješac, down to Dubrovnik, then back north via the calm waters of Mljet National Park, Korčula (one of Croatia’s great wine islands), and Hvar, before returning to Trogir. The exact order may change depending on weather and sea conditions, but these are the places we’re aiming for, chosen for swimming, scenery, food, and their connection to Croatian wine.
Our Yacht
The boat is comfortable, spacious, and designed for slow island cruising rather than showy luxury. There’s plenty of deck space to relax between swim stops, shaded areas to escape the sun, and open sections where meals and afternoons naturally turn social.
Cabins are twin share and come with air-conditioning and private en-suite bathrooms. They’re practical, clean, and surprisingly comfortable for life at sea — a cool place to shower, reset, and sleep properly after long days in the sun. It’s not a floating palace, but it’s a very good place to live for a week.
