Description
La Dolce Vita, but with dry wine
This is our only long weekend ski trip, made so because a week of living like this would leave us content, carbed out, wine filled, and exhausted.
Four nights in the Italian Alps. Big mountain days. Slow breakfasts loaded with coffee. Long dinners where pasta is more often than not the star. Wine flowing. A great group and a little chaos.
Like all of our Ski & Wine trips we’re taking the best parts of a luxury ski trip and stripping it of the stuffiness (and the price tag). A social ski escape for people who like good food and decent bottles, who deserve a private chef, but can only afford to share one with a crew of new best mates. Of people who love the thrill of skiing and boarding, but don’t feel the need to pretend they’re professional athletes.
By day, you’ll ski the high-altitude slopes of Livigno — one of Italy’s most snow-reliable resorts and a place that quietly punches above its weight for both terrain and après. You saw how gorgeous Livigno is during the 2026 Winter Olympics.
By night, we regroup at the chalet. We eat together. We recover properly. We ease into the evenings the way mountain towns always intended.
Welcome to the Ski & Wine Long Weekend by Swallow Don’t Spit Wine.
What’s Included
Chalet accommodation in Livigno
You’ll be based in shared alpine apartments within Chalet del Sole — warm, social, well located, and equipped with sauna and jacuzzi for end-of-day survival.
Daily breakfast
Strong coffee. Proper food. No rush. Ski days start better when someone else has already turned the lights on.
Hosted group dinners
Hearty mountain meals designed for cold days and good appetites. Simple, generous, and best enjoyed sitting down together.
Time to ski properly
Livigno’s high altitude means reliable late-season snow, wide pistes, and long cruising runs — ideal for skiers and snowboarders who want full days without pressure or panic.
Après-ski and village life
From slope-side drinks to Livigno’s lively town centre, this is a resort that knows how to have a good time without trying too hard.
Swallow Don’t Spit Wine hosting
We take care of the logistics, the timing, and the flow of the weekend — so you can focus on skiing, eating, drinking, and making friends you’ll forget to exchange numbers with.
New for Italy: optional wine tasting course
We’re shipping in an Italian sommelier to host a series of wine tastings. Learn about Italian wines, the art of the swirl, how to sniff, appreciate and truly discover what you like about Italian wines and wines in general – all with the Swallow Don’t Spit Wine ethos of not looking being a wine wanker.
Where we stay
We’re staying in the Chalet del Sole, a warm, social alpine property just on the edge of the village with shared apartments and communal spaces, and a sauna and jacuzzi for recovery. It’s comfortable without being precious and perfectly placed for getting to the lifts in the morning and the bars in the evening.
